Established in 2005 by Jeff Eldridge and Chris Wirth, Liberty Puzzles is the product of their shared passion for the rich history and social experience of wooden jigsaw puzzles.

Liberty Puzzles created this unique puzzle in collaboration with WHOI designer Natalie Renier, featuring her watercolor rendering of the Spilhaus map projection. The artwork is based on bathymetric data extruded from the General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO) dataset, offering a striking view of the Earth designed to “change your perspective.”

Natalie’s artwork highlights the oceans at the center of the world, inviting you to rethink traditional maps and appreciate the vital role of the ocean.
