Talisman Twist Necklace

Talisman Twist Necklaces are one-of-a-kind shell necklaces crafted by local Cape Cod artist, and WHOI employee, Debra Rogers. 

Made with locally harvested North Atlantic whelk shells, Debra creates pieces inspired by nature’s patterns, spirals, curves and the vibrant varying tones within the shells. Each piece is meticulously sculpted, fabricated, and finished by Debra.

• Talisman Twist Necklace SMALL: Shells range less than 1 ¼ - 1 ½” 
• Talisman Twist Necklace MEDIUM: Shells range between 1 ¼ - 2”
• Talisman Twist Necklace LARGE: Shells range greater than1 ¾ - 2”

**Shell colors vary naturally. Channeled whelks feature warm tans, soft beiges, and white tones, while knobbed whelks found on the Cape often show striking shades of orange, coral, tan, and cream. All are mindfully [sustainably] gathered along various shorelines and harvested by licensed local fisherfolk off Cape Cod and the Islands.
